GEICO, a leader in auto insurance, is seeking a detail-oriented Casualty Claims Examiner to join our dedicated team. This position demands a professional who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, and is adept at handling large volumes of casualty claims efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service. Investigate and process casualty claims, determining the extent of the company's liability. Coordinate with legal counsel on claims requiring litigation. Ensure compliance with both internal policy procedures and external regulatory requirements. Review and analyze claim forms, policies, and documents for accuracy. Communicate effectively with claimants, witnesses, and medical professionals. Manage and document claims activity in a timely and comprehensive manner. Strong analytical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of casualty insurance policies and applicable laws Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Proficiency in claims management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Possession of or eligibility for obtaining AIC (Associate in Claims) or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) certification
