Job Description:
This role is an intermediate-level position responsible for
conducting credit reviews, credit approval and monitoring the
portfolio to identify credit migration in coordination with the
Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to
manage Citi's portfolio exposure to clients and counterparties
globally. They will own and develop quantitative risk framework and
associated risk analytics to optimize underwriting and ECM
strategies for Branded cards portfolio. Leverage external credit
bureaus & internal Citi data to formulate objectives, develop
analytical solutions, and perform statistical analyses using CHAID
and other advanced segmentation/analytical techniques to identify
relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could
affect these results.Responsibilities:
- Develop and test experimental designs, sampling techniques, and
analytical methods to identify underserved segments within risk
appetite -boundaries and -prepare the test data for processing by
organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and
adjusting / weighting the raw test results to design credit
policies while -balancing risk and return.
- Evaluate, implement and monitor sophisticated leading edge
analytic tools such as machine learning models in the underwriting

- Evaluate and make business case for usage of non-traditional
data sources in credit decisioning process
- Create management reporting for Senior Leadership using
Business Intelligence tools like Cognos, Tableau to monitor and
report the results of statistical analyses. - - - - - - - - - - - -

- Analyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an
ongoing basis. Identify trends and conduct data driven
root-cause-analysis using SAS and SQL to isolate key performance
drivers. -

approvals, performance trends with business partners, senior

- Collaborate with Marketing, product, Finance, and Legal to
drive new projects including new product launch, enhanced tech

- 0-3 years' experience in financial, economics or other
analytical capacity in a relevant field (Experience can be offset
by -Master's Degree or PhD)
- Knowledge of credit risk analytics
- Ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business
goals
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive
results with a sense of urgency
- Proven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment,
managing multiple projects
- Proven interpersonal, organizational and analytic
skillsEducation:
- Bachelor's Degree required in statistics, mathematics,
engineering, physics, or economics
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
