Job Description:
Sensory ScientistThis wonderful research forward, market leading
billion-dollar dairy company is looking to add an ambitious Sensory
Scientist to their team. Reporting into the Manager of R&D &
Sensory, you will be the go-to across the company for Sensory as
well as have 2 Jr. Scientists to mentor.They offer a no-deductible,

company.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams on
complex projects & recommend appropriate sensory testing to support
projects based on the company s objectivesParticipate in
cross-functional product and ingredient development projects and
guide activities on improving sensory aspects of products /
ingredientsSchedule, design & execute sensory tests, including
panelist recruitment, survey software programming, sample prep,
serving, & clean upStatistically analyze & report sensory data,
drawing meaningful conclusions, & recommendations for product
optimizationDevelop methodologies that allow correlating sensory
and analytical results to guide product and ingredient
developmentCreate and maintain ingredient / product sensory
lexiconsTrain & monitor performance of panelistsDevelop quality
sensory protocolsStay updated on industry trends & emerging
technologies related to sensory science, flavor chemistry, &
contribute to innovation in product developmentTechnical
Qualifications:Master s PhD preferred in Sensory, Food Science or
technical / related fieldM.S. 5+ years of food industry experience
in a sensory rolePhD fresh graduates welcome if you have the
extensive experience through your degreeStrong fundamental
knowledge of sensory principles, test design, execution &
analysesBackground in descriptive sensory with discrimination
testing, consumer insight testing, and shelf-life testingCompetence
in one or more of the following: XL Stat, JMP, R, or similar
CompuSense softwareExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to
workDetail oriented with the ability to prioritize & manage
