Job Description:

*2 to 4 DAY WORK WEEK / SIGNING BONUS $$$! / FULL TIME OR PART TIME *

We are looking to add a part time or full time Dental Hygienist's to our dental family. We are looking for someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with the Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health & safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases & anomalies. We are aware as a hygienist you have a great deal of opportunities available to you. A minimum of two years of dental hygienist is preferred, however *NEW GRADS WELCOME TO APPLY*, we would love to teach you! Open Dental experience is preferred.

*RESPONSIBILITIES *(not limited to)

* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
* Sterilize dental instruments properly
* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
* Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
* Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
* Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
* Take X-rays or dental impressions
* Maintain documentation and records on each patient
* Monitor supplies

*SKILLS -*

* Prefer experience as Dental Hygienist, at least 2 years / willing to train new grads
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
* Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
* Outstanding communication skills
* A patient and friendly personality
* Attention to detail
* Valid TX hygienist license
