-Lockheed Martin's Hardware Engineering team and our Strategic Initiatives team in Grand Prairie, TX seeking an RF / Communications Engineer to support the CETO 21st Century Warfare IRAD.
-This effort will focus on RIG-360 to PrSM+ datalink evaluation, trade studies, and integration & test activities.
-Major tasks include hardware requirements development, definition of modulation/demodulation requirements, surrogate radio development, HWIL design & support, software development support, and system test support. The ideal candidate will have experience in communications protocols, link analysis and optimization, allocation of RF requirements to RF subsystems, and RF hardware verification.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to work on and collaborate with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the 'Mid-Cities' region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or associated field
-RF / Communications architecture development experience
-RF hardware experience
-Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment
-Clear, confident, concise, coherent oral and written communication skills
-Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Desired skills :
-Prior experience with defense, aerospace, and or weapons systems would be a plus.
Prior experience with research and development would be a plus.
Prior experience working with suppliers would be a plus.
Datalink 16 / Link 16 knowledge would be a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
