Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in North America for providing
environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a
dedicated and responsible Driver Class A / ICSS (Industrial
Cleaning and Safety Services) to join our team. This role is
crucial in supporting our mission to protect the environment
through the proper transportation and disposal of hazardous
materials, emergency response services, and industrial cleaning.
The ideal candidate will operate in compliance with safety
standards and adhere to all regulatory guidelines, ensuring the
integrity and safety of services. Safely transport hazardous
materials to and from various locations in compliance with
applicable regulations and laws. Perform industrial cleaning
services at various sites, using specialized equipment. Prepare and
maintain transport documents and logs according to federal and
state regulations. Ensure the maintenance and proper operation of
company vehicles and equipment. Respond to emergency spill
responses quickly and effectively, as part of the emergency
response team. Communicate effectively with logistics and dispatch
centers to ensure efficient operation. Participate in training
sessions and stay current on industry practices and standards.
Ability to handle and transport hazardous materials safely. Skilled
in operating large vehicles and industrial cleaning equipment.
Knowledge of DOT and EPA regulations concerning hazardous waste
transportation. Strong communication and logistical coordination
skills. Ability to respond to emergencies and adapt to unexpected
situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
with Hazardous Materials Endorsement. DOT physical exam
certification OSHA hazardous waste operations and emergency
response training (HAZWOPER) certification preferred
