ABM, a nationwide leader in facility solutions, is seeking a dedicated School Custodial Cleaner to join our team in the Education sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that the educational environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning. As a School Custodial Cleaner, you will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of school facilities, utilizing the latest cleaning techniques and products. Working closely with other facility staff, you will help create a welcoming and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors. Perform routine cleaning tasks based on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and well stocked with necessary supplies. Operate various types of cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, and use personal protective equipment as required. Respond to urgent cleanliness issues, such as spills, to prevent accidents. Assist in setting up facilities for school events or assemblies as needed. Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the appropriate department. Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, submitting purchase requests as needed. Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment Attention to detail Good physical condition and strength Ability to follow instructions and operate in a structured environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications in handling cleaning chemicals safely preferred.
