Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: Required certifications for this role include an active RN license. Must-Have: - Trauma, Burn, or Surgical ICU experience - Strong communication and critical thinking skills Description: The unit has 30 beds and 85 staff members. The day and night shifts have a relief charge nurse and staff vary based on patient census. Patient ratios are 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for progressive care. The unit uses critical care equipment and technology such as electronic medical records. Typical procedures performed include wound care, responding to codes, managing external ventricular drains, and massive transfusion protocols. The ideal candidate should be team-oriented, willing to ask questions, and eager to assist colleagues. Candidates with a BSN and CCRN certification are preferred.
