Utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment, this role requires the performance of routine diagnostic procedures while ensuring patient comfort and adherence to protocols. Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes Position patients and adjust equipment for taking X-rays while minimizing radiation exposure Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and their coworkers Maintain patient records and radiologic data Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate images and determine necessity for retakes Proficiency in using radiographic equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient safety Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist by the state Compliance with all local and federal radiation safety regulations BLS certification preferred
