This travel nurse assignment includes shifts at Coppell and North Richland Hills satellite ERs — ideal for ER nurses seeking Texas nursing jobs and emergency department experience across multiple sites./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Emergency Nurse/n - Location: Southlake, TX (76092) — main hospital with potential shifts at Coppell and North Richland Hills satellite ERs/n - Assignment: 13-week travel assignment (Travel Nurse)/n - Start Date: March 30, 2026/n - End Date: June 29, 2026/n - Shift: Night shift — 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Patient Ratio: 1:4 (typical ED nurse patient load)/n - Orientation: 24 hours/n - Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekends per 6-week period/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1770/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (ED nurse, trauma nurse, or critical care background preferred)/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas/n - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS, PALS (AHA preferred; military acceptable)/n - Experience using Epic EMR / Epic charting system/n - Community hospital and emergency department experience required/n - Ability to assess and care for a diverse patient population: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics/n - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across multiple ER locations in a fast-paced emergency department environment/n - Perform triage, comprehensive assessment, and treatment for a wide range of emergency conditions including trauma, cardiac, stroke/neuro, sepsis, and behavioral health emergencies/n - Manage patients requiring advanced interventions such as arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, and procedural sedation/n - Administer emergency medications, IV therapies, and blood products according to protocols/n - Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, physical therapy, and social services/n - Document accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR to support continuity of care and compliance/n - Participate in ongoing training, complete required modules pre-start and during orientation, and maintain required certifications/n - Adhere to infection control, isolation protocols, and ED safety procedures/n /n/n Apply now to join our Southlake emergency department team as a Night Shift ER RN.
