Job Description:
At Methodist Health System, we are dedicated to providing

seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our
Acute Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
delivering physical therapy services to patients in acute care
settings, focusing on improving mobility, relieving pain, and
preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities. This
position offers a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a
dynamic team committed to improving patient outcomes through
innovative and evidence-based practices. Assess patient condition
by reviewing medical history and conducting physical examinations
to determine therapy requirements. Formulate treatment plans to
address the needs of patients in acute care settings using
appropriate therapies to alleviate pain, restore function, and
promote recovery. Implement physical therapy interventions, such as
therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and mobility training,
tailored to the needs of each patient. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and
preventive measures to enhance the recovery process. Document
patient care and progress thoroughly, adhering to regulatory
requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
effective patient and team interactions. Expertise in designing and
executing effective patient therapy plans. Ability to operate and
maintain physical therapy equipment and tools. In-depth
understanding of acute care therapy requirements and best
practices. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist. CPR
certified. Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association
preferred.
