Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our diverse team, providing
high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in both facility-based
and home-based settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social
communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in
patients ranging from children to the elderly. This role requires a
compassionate professional who is committed to the highest
standards of patient care and eager to contribute to our
interdisciplinary healthcare team. Assess and diagnose patients
with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and
goals. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans
accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various
disciplines to plan and coordinate care. Provide targeted patient
education for patients and their families to enhance communication
and swallowing functions. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings
to report on patient progress and outcomes. Expertise in various
speech and language assessment tools Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in an
interdisciplinary team Patient and compassionate clinical approach
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
