Job Description:

At Encompass Health, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered care as part of our inpatient rehabilitation and home-based service programs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Our ideal candidate will have a patient-focused approach and a strong commitment to promoting the highest standards of health and recovery. Assess and diagnose patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient-specific needs. Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and family members about communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Adhere to all professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality and privacy policies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of the latest speech therapy techniques and tools Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Compassion and sensitivity in handling patient needs Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
