Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Travel experience required; experience with Epic charting Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Travel experience is required for this role. Candidates must have experience with the Epic charting system. Certifications needed include ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC. This role involves working night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week. The emergency room consists of 11 beds, with an average daily census of 65 visits. The patient age groups served include neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Patient ratios are 3:1 during the day and 4:1 at night. The emergency room provides support from various interdisciplinary services. Nurses will manage tasks such as phlebotomy, IV administration, and care of ventilated patients.
