We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsFLOWER MOUND EMERGENCY CENTER REGISTERED NURSE - PART-TIME DAY SHIFT 7A-7P Our Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way. As an ER RN, you will work in a fast-paced setting with patients requiring urgent treatment due to a life-threatening medical condition, illness or injury as well as patients with less serious conditions.What you will do in this role:
    • Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
    • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
    • Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
    • Deliver patient education/follow-up care instructions and make necessary referralsWhat qualifications you will need:
      • ADN required / BSN preferred
      • Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
      • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
      • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
