We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsSPECIAL PROCEDURES REGISTERED NURSE - FULL-TIME PART-TIME PRN DAY SHIFT WITH CALL ROTATIONThe Registered Nurse in the Imaging Department is responsible for providing quality nursing care to the patient undergoing a Special Procedure/Imaging procedure.
    • Performs nursing assessment prior to Imaging procedure as required
    • Initiates and performs standard interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice and patient care
    • Assist Radiologists and Anesthesiologists during cases requiring moderate sedation or deep sedation
    • Performs patient and family educationWhat qualifications you will need:
      • ADN required / BSN preferred
      • Texas RN license or compact license is accepted
      • Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
      • Current PALS
      • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience in Radiology, Outpatient Surgery, ICU and/or Recovery RoomThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility.
