The position offers a unique opportunity to work across product functions and businesses. The book of work is a rapidly changing mix of process innovation, regulatory compliance, customer product creation, financial control and business reengineering engagements. The Program Lead requires exemplary communication and negotiation skills. Work either independently or leading a PM team depending on the size and need of the initiative. The book of work is fast paced and consistently offers change, challenge and opportunity. PMAE is an experienced group of almost 70 PMs working with program sponsors in Institutional Clients Group, Private Wealth Management, Enterprise Operations and Technology, Financial Control, Corporate Compliance, OT Risk Management, and Citi Ventures and Innovations and other groups across Citi.The Program Lead will play a key role in the definition, governance setup, and implementation of critical initiatives in support of Citi strategy and is responsible for the development of strategic plans, the coordination of their execution, and the tracking of results. He/she will serve as a partner to all stakeholders and form connections across Citi, facilitating cooperation and bringing people together across multiple external and internal entities. The individual will lead and effectively drive successful completion of all programs.Key responsibilities will include:1. Act as Senior Program Manager for complex programs and continuously ensure their alignment to transformation goals2. Build strong relationships with program sponsors3. Orchestrate and drive the successful & timely completion of programs to achieve the business goals, including the identification and resolution of risks and issues which impact program delivery4. Carry out Risk Management, mitigation planning, and workshops5. Ensure consistency of deliverables and artifacts across all programs in portfolio6. Manage capacity and program alignment cooperatively across the portfolio7. Communicate to all stakeholders (including Senior Management) on a timely basis in a clear way8. Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics with key stakeholders (often including Senior Management)9. Employ program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery; leverage these across the EO&T organization10. Maintain weekly and monthly operating reports11. Guarantee compliance with all application tools used for program and project management12. In partnership with the PMAE managers, make certain that the collective activities of PMAE support the goal of reaching Citi's targetsQualification:1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business or IT2. 10+ years' experience in leading PM teams on complex projects and programs following a structured methodology - tracking, planning, monitoring and reporting of concurrent, multiple financial services projects spanning broad geographies and organizations3. Experience with enterprise program management tools4. Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills5. Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management6. Individual should be analytical, flexible, team-oriented, have good interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task7. Technical proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint8. PMP a plus (will be required to obtain within a 1 year from start date010. Finance or accounting experience as a plus12.
