Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Contracts team is looking for a
Manager, Contracts who seizes the chance to immerse themselves with
several top talent teams to accept and take on some of Raytheon’s

successful candidate will lead a significant portion of our $1B
portfolio. This position is tailored for a highly motivated,
well-organized Contracts professional who embraces, thrives and

position is on-site . In this role, you will be responsible for
customer communication, contract management, change management,
coordination of invoicing, fulfillment of contract requirements in
accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer
specifications. You will need to utilize regular application of
thorough business acumen and subject matter expertise to understand
program performance requirements, provide guidance, and influence
results in support of program and financial objectives.
Additionally, the Manager, Contracts is required to work closely
with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel,
and cross-functional peers in support of program gate reviews,
program management reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal
reviews, risk management activities, and all other contractual
related matters affecting the portfolio. This position will have 1
direct report. The successful candidate will work with both
internal and external customers to ensure programs' performance,
provide guidance, and influence outcomes to achieve desired
results. This role is eligible for a Sign-on bonus. What You Will
Do Be the Contracts lead for the development of proposals,
negotiations, contractual agreements, contract execution,
day-to-day administration Provide sound contract management to meet
customer obligations, achieve company objectives and comply with
company policies Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and
conditions to ensure work is performed to the overall contract
scope Develop and enhance positive customer relationships for
working contractual matters to resolution Effectively communicate
with leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the
organization Leverage excellent relationships with Program
Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions
to drive closure on complex contractual issues and achieve business
result Manage 1 direct report Work onsite (40 hours per week) at
our McKinney, TX location Qualifications You Must Have Typically
requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8
years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related
field and minimum 5 years' experience Active and transferable
Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior
to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start
date Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts
Administration, Program/Project Management, Supply Chain
Management/Administration, Procurement/Acquisitions, or Finance
Experience with U.S. Government contracts Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to partner with others, work in a team environment, and
defer to management as appropriate Excellent written and verbal
communication and organizational skills Comfortable working in an
environment with established company policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining
relationships with customers Experience in a position requiring
multi-tasking and handling several assignments concurrently or
similar project management or coordination Experience working in

role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
