Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting K-12 students in a Fort Worth, TX school with a full-time schedule (30 hours/week) during the full school year (FSY). The position is itinerant and requires a flexible schedule, with varying start and end times daily, to effectively serve students with moderate to severe needs. Key responsibilities include providing SEL training and reset opportunities, along with some one-on-one sessions, for students with behavioral challenges. One student on the caseload has cerebral palsy, is wheelchair-bound, and may exhibit verbal and physical aggression. The role requires physical capabilities to lift, transfer, and reposition students and equipment safely. Preferred qualifications and experience: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience working in school environments with K-12 students Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism Comfort working with students who have physical disabilities and behavioral needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to support individualized student goals The role demands adaptability and a compassionate approach to create a positive, supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
