Job Description:
Duties: Develops, builds and maintains Web-based and desktop
software components within a financial services environment according to
Scrum methodologies. Responsible for end-to-end development, testing,
and deployment activities. Supports and maintains existing
applications. Develops client-side and middle tier service layer and
configures development environments. Participates in requirements
gathering, systems analysis, and scope estimations. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops original and creative technical solutions to
on-going development efforts. • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and
for/in multiple platforms. • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting
several divisional initiatives. • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation. • Assists with the planning and conducting of user
acceptance testing. • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple
applications supporting several corporate initiatives. • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of
a project. • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several
initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience developing responsive Web and desktop applications using MVP
Agile methodologies within the personal and workplace investing
industry; Or, alternatively, a Master’s degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology,
Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and
one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of
experience developing responsive Web and desktop applications using MVP
Agile methodologies within the personal and workplace investing
industry. Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”)
designing and developing responsive Web MVC applications using: JavaScript
MVC frameworks (Angular.js), client-side technologies (HTML5, CSS,
SASS, Bootstrap, and jQuery), server-side technologies (Node.js), and
IDEs (WebStorm, Visual Studio Code, and Brackets); DE performing
Object- oriented design, software development, and code reviews using
Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) technologies; developing
APIs using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and WSO2;
performing implementation with C# and XAML; and embedding custom browsers,
Chromium Embedded Framework (“CEF”), and Openfin browsers to display
Modern HTML5 Single Page Applications (SPA) in XAML views; DE performing Test
Driven Development using frameworks (Microsoft Fakes, Chakram, and
Mocha); creating Jenkins build definitions to produce build artifacts;
build the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker, and Udeploy; performing
source code branch management to create branches for release, merge,
and creation of build artifacts; and promoting builds to
different environments along the software development life cycle; DE
developing Java-based middle tier layer and JavaScript client side
technologies (Backbone.js, jQuery, HTML, and CSS) that consume RESTful JSON
Web services; deployment and support using Maven; performing version
control and continuous integration of build, deploy, and testing using
Jenkins, Stash, GIT and uDeploy; and designing technical solutions using
