Job Description Job Description We are partnering with a global industrial organization to engage an Interim Controller to support North America accounting operations during a period of transformation. This role will play a critical hands-on leadership role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while strengthening internal controls and supporting process standardization within a global finance framework. This is a consulting/interim engagement , ideal for a seasoned Controller who can step in quickly, stabilize core accounting operations, and operate confidently within a complex SAP and shared-services environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Close & Reporting Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial governance standards Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis activities Intercompany, Treasury & Working Capital Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and reporting across multiple entities Coordinate with treasury on cash forecasting, drawdowns, and liquidity requirements Monitor balance sheet integrity and working capital drivers Payroll, Expenses & Indirect Tax Oversight Oversee payroll accounting in coordination with HR and third-party providers Review expense reimbursements and ensure accurate general ledger coding Support indirect tax compliance (e.g., VAT) and related documentation Governance, Controls & Audit Maintain a strong control environment and address audit findings Coordinate internal and external audits and support documentation and testing Drive process improvements and standardization across accounting operations Stakeholder & Team Collaboration Partner with shared services, regional finance teams, and global finance leadership Support and guide a geographically dispersed accounting team Act as a hands-on resource and point of escalation for complex accounting matters Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Prior Controller-level experience required Strong SAP ERP experience (S/4HANA preferred) Experience operating within a global or multinational environment Solid understanding of IFRS and corporate accounting standards Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Pay Details: $70.00 to $90.00 per hour Search managed by: Blanca Gomez Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
