Description:Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized
designer, developer and
manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems
for
the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin's lead
business unit for research development and production of manned and
unmanned
ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems
and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance
missile and fire
control technology.
Integrated Air & Missile Defense is looking for a Launcher Control
Electronics (LCE) and Ship Interface Electrical Design Engineer for
the Long Endurance Electronic Decoy (LEED) program. The goal is to
deliver a decoy system capable of defeating anti-ship missile
threats for the US Navy. The LEED program is a fast-paced
development OTA recently awarded a Phase 2 to develop a launcher,
launch mechanism, launch control electronics, and mature the air
vehicle/payload design. Seeking an Electrical Engineer to support
the launch mechanism ISD/ESAF design, electrical harnessing design,
architect and oversee the launch control electronics development
supplier, and support air vehicle/ship electrical integration. Must
possess a secret clearance or have the ability to obtain. Someone
that has Navy customer and requirements experience.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the "Mid-Cities" region in the
Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of
Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The
region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy
and a pleasant climate. This North Central region of Texas is a

numerous colleges and universities to include University of Texas
at Dallas, University of Texas at Arlington, University of North
Texas, Southern Methodist University, and Texas Woman's University.

of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake,
Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland
Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along
with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke
and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort
Worth.

Basic Qualifications:
Electrical interconnect design experience (power, networking,
discrete signaling, etc)
AC and DC power distribution, signal integrity, shielding and
grounding
Mil spec connector and cable design
Launch sequence, timeline, and flow diagram design
CCA design experience
Supplier oversight experience
Effectively communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal
stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
to meet an aggressive schedule.
Self-starter who can fully engage with other personnel on the
program and operate as a player/coach with little to no direct
supervision
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with ISD/ESAF requirements and design
Familiarity with Zuken E3 design and capture
Familiarity with Navy ship integration, test, and verification
Radio and GPS integration and design experience
Flight test and/or HWIL experience
Vehicle Launch mechanism
UAV/missile subsystem design experience
Experience leading employees or working in other hardware design or
analysis groups (e.g. EE analog design, etc)
Creo/WindChill experience
CAM experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
